UNICLINICS INTERNATIONAL LTD (hereinafter UNICLINICS®) is a platform containing information about medical and health services providers (hereinafter Medical Providers). The platform's purpose is to inform the Users about Medical Providers, their services and estimated costs.
UNICLINICS® is responsible for processing the information provided by the User, either via this Platform or through the UNICLINICS® consultant with hospitals, clinics and third parties. In the course of its activities, UNICLINICS® may use third-party partners and suppliers to perform its services and may share the information provided by the User with third parties. UNICLINICS® is liable for data collected and transmitted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, unless it is established that UNICLINICS® is not responsible for violation.

Personal data and specific personal data:

Collection, processing and usage of personal data (any information about the personal or material circumstances of the User, e.g. name, address, date of birth, etc.) is carried out in accordance with the Law on Information Protection, the requirements of the Information Protection Directive, the Law on Telecommunications and other applicable legal provisions.

The User can employ the Platform without providing and transmitting personal data. However, in order to assess the possibility of using the Platform and avoid or solve technical problems, the User's IP-address will be automatically recorded and stored in a log file on the server each time the User visits the UNICLINICS® website and each time they access the file. Under certain circumstances, an IP-address can be assigned to a specific user. However, UNICLINICS® does not pursue this goal and neither use such data for its advertising purposes nor store this data for third parties usage.
Collection and transmission of certain personal data and specific personal data (including information about medical status, health, sex, habits, racial or ethnic origin, or religious beliefs, etc.) is required for entering into and executing a contract, creating a client's personal profile, or establishing contact of UNICLINICS® and a healthcare provider. This data is used exclusively for the purposes mentioned above. Otherwise, UNICLINICS® must obtain the User's consent for other uses, as described in the STATEMENT OF RELEASE form of the UNICLINICS® (hereinafter Consent Form). If the User accepts the Consent Form, the data provided can be used only to the extent necessary for the execution of a specific purpose, for example, agreeing, concluding and executing contract clauses. To accomplish these goals, user data will be stored in accordance with the requirements of the legislation on taxes and trade, but will be deleted after the period specified in the requirements.

The User may employ certain services (hereinafter referred to as Special Services) provided by UNICLINICS®. For this purpose, the User's consent is required for collecting, processing and usage of their personal data and, as the case may be, specific personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This applies to the following specific services:

1) UNICLINICS® is a platform containing information about Medical Providers. Its purpose is to provide the User of the portal with information about Medical Providers, their services and estimated cost.

2) In case UNICLINICS® concludes a service agreement with the User, the User authorizes UNICLINICS® to transfer the relevant data to Medical Providers and third-party service providers (e.g. travel agencies, customer service agencies, payment systems or interpreters, etc.). Such data includes the type and date of treatment as well as the amount and date of any invoice issued by the Medical Provider to the User.

3) In case a third-party service provider concludes an Agreement on certain services with the User, the User authorizes the third-party service provider to inform UNICLINICS® of the amount and date of any invoice issued by the service provider to the User.

4) In case the User is the insured by the partner insurance company of UNICLINICS® (hereinafter Insurance Company), the User authorizes the Medical Service Provider, the third party and the insurance company to inform UNICLINICS® about the treatment of the User, the amount and date of any invoice issued by the service provider to the User or the Insurance Company.

5) Forums are established on the Platform or on partner websites, which allows to exchange experience and opinions between the Users.

6) The user has the opportunity to receive newsletters on a regular basis.
UNICLINICS® uses various third-party vendors to assist in the organization of services related to online platform activities. These third-party service providers may be located inside or outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Third-party service providers help UNICLINICS® verify or identify users, validate information in open databases, assist in fraud prevention and risk assessment, or provide advertising or payment services to the Users. These providers have limited access to the User's information and may use this information only in accordance with the UNICLINICS® Privacy Policy.

The user has the right to prohibit collection, processing and usage of personal data and specific personal data at any time if their usage is harmful to them. To do this, the User must send an e-mail with a brief explanation of the situation to the email-address office@uniclinics.com and indicate their name, address and user name (if any). Also, the User may send a ban by mail (letter) to the following address: 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, United Kingdom, W1W 7LT.

In case UNICLINICS® participates in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset sale, bankruptcy, or insolvency procedure, UNICLINICS® may sell, transfer some or all of its assets, including the User information. In this case, UNICLINICS® will notify the User before any personal data and specific personal data will be transferred and subjected to a different privacy policy.

UNICLINICS® can also compile, harmonize and transfer aggregated information (anonymous information about the User and other Users, without the possibility of identification or links to a specific User, as well as non-personal data for market analytics, demographic data collection, marketing and advertising, as well as for other UNICLINICS® business objectives.

User consent

By clicking on the appropriate check box during the request process, the User agrees to the following forms of data processing:

The User agrees that UNICLINICS INTERNATIONAL LTD may collect, store and use personal data and specific personal data that are submitted as part of the request process in order to: (I) send such data to the Medical Provider in order to receive an estimated cost or schedule an appointment. The Medical Provider may be selected by the User, or, if no specific Medical Provider is selected, the Medical Provider has the right to forward the data to such number of Medical Providers that was agreed or necessary to achieve the goals set by the User and UNICLINICS®, (II) transfer such data to third-party service providers, partners and affiliates inside and outside the European Economic Area (EEA), to provide the service assigned to UNICLINICS®, based on the instructions of UNICLINICS® and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy provides appropriate confidentiality and security measures (III) to provide any service that the User intends to receive through the web portal, and (IV) for internal pricing, in each case to the extent necessary for this purpose and as described further in this Privacy Policy.

The User agrees that UNICLINICS® may view, scan or analyze their messages transmitted via the platform or via email with the Medical Provider. UNICLINICS® can do this for fraud prevention, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, research, product development. UNICLINICS® uses automated methods to view, scan or analyze the Users' messages, however sometimes UNICLINICS® may need to manually review some messages to investigate fraud and support the Users or to evaluate and improve the functionality of these automated tools.

The User has the right to prohibit such collection, processing and usage of personal data and specific personal data at any time using the process described above. In this case, UNICLINICS® will not be able to provide the User with services that require the processing of any personal data or specific personal data in the future.

Other data:

A log file (containing, among other things, the website from which the file was requested, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred) is created every time one visits the UNICLINICS® web-portal and every time one accesses the file. Due to technical limitations, this data cannot be identified as belonging to a specific user. We do not combine and do not compare this data with other data sources; data is deleted after usage for statistical evaluation.

UNICLINICS® collects and stores anonymous data, such as anonymous user profiles or user behaviour, for marketing optimization purposes. Flash and cookies can also be used for this purpose. Cookies and Flash Cookies are alphanumeric identification codes that UNICLINICS® sends to the hard disk of a computer using a user's web browser or other programs. If the User does not want his cookies to be recorded, he can disable them in accordance with the instructions of his browser.

Cookies

There is no need to accept cookies to visit the UNICLINICS® website. However, if the User would like to add a clinic as a favorite bookmark or receive a reminder of which clinics he viewed earlier, the User will need to set a browser to accept cookies.

Cookies and flash files are small files that are stored on the User's storage medium, which store certain information about preferences and any other data that UNICLINICS® requires when interacting with browsers. There are two different types of cookies: session cookies, which are deleted when the User exits the browser; and temporary cookies, which are stored in the User's browser for a longer period of time. Cookies help UNICLINICS® adapt the platform to the User and reflect preferences and viewing habits. They also allow UNICLINICS® to save any information entered, so that the User does not have to re-enter it during the next visit.

Most cookies used by UNICLINICS® are session cookies that are deleted at the end of a browser session. UNICLINICS® does use some cookies that remain on the User's computer after they exit the browser. This type of cookie allows the UNICLINICS® system to recognize that the User has visited the platform before and to remember which settings and clinics are preferred. These temporary cookies have a lifespan of about one month, after which they will be automatically deleted. These cookies allow UNICLINICS® to collect and analyze data in order to develop strategies for platform improvement. This facilitates the use of the UNICLINICS® website.

Cookies used by UNICLINICS® are never used to store personal information. Therefore, our cookies cannot be assigned to a single user. As soon as the cookie is activated, it is assigned an identification number which is used exclusively for internal links and cannot be used to identify the User or access any personal information, such as your name or IP-address. The anonymous information we receive from cookies allows us to assess which pages of the UNICLINICS® portal are most visited and see which procedures and clinics are the most popular.

The UNICLINICS® web-portal collects information that may be useful when providing offers and newsletters to the User. This information is not used to identify one as a user; information is used solely to optimize the platform. The information collected by the cookies is not stored in personal or user information, it is used only to provide the User with news / advertisements and / or notices of UNICLINICS® offers and services that meet their individual requirements, using click flow analysis.

UNICLINICS® uses retargeting, which allows to make offers more interesting for the User. Retargeting technology means that UNICLINICS® can advertise recently viewed clinics on partner websites, which means advertisements, even on websites of other companies, that are relevant to what the User would like to see. This information is anonymous and does not save personal information and user profiles.

Google Analytics

This web-portal uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter Google). Google Analytics uses cookies which are text files placed on your computer, to help the site analyze how users employ the website. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of the website (including your IP-address) will be transmitted and stored by Google on servers in the United States of America. If Google's anonymity is activated, Google will truncate / anonymize the last octet of the IP-address for the European Union member states, as well as for other parties of the EEA. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP-address is sent and shortened by Google servers in the USA. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your usage of the web-portal, compile reports on web-portal activities for web-portal operators and provide other services related to the portal's activities and use of the Internet. Google will not associate your IP-address with other data held by Google. You can decline cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.
