Adjacent to the Singapore Botanic Gardens and close to the heart of the local shopping district, Gleneagles Hospital provides a wide range of specialized diagnostics and treatment services. This 270-bed hospital houses a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, including Oncology, Cardiology, Liver transplantation, Gastroenterology, Orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Infrastructure of the clinic - 270 beds, including:
  • 4 VIP suites;
  • Operative department with 40 beds;
  • 1 Intensive Care Unit with 16 beds;
  • 5 High Dependency Unit;
  • 1 neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 14 beds;
  • 1 transplant unit with 7 intensive care beds, 8 single and 2 double rooms;
  • 1 main operating room with 12 operating rooms.

Gleneagles Hospital — Awards and Innovations

Gleneagles Hospital was awarded the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation in 2006, certifying that it meets the international standard for hospital care and management, with the Gold Seal of Approval.

In 1999, Gleneagles became the first hospital in Southeast Asia to use the state-of-the-art robotic SurgiScope for neurosurgery, ENT and spinal surgery. This reduces the operation time and recovery time by 30%.

In 2002, the Asian American Liver Center at Gleneagles Hospital became the first hospital in Southeast Asia to perform a living donor liver transplant in children, a high-risk, but potentially life-saving procedure. The Asian American Liver Center uses state-of-the-art technology to help physicians reconstruct liver anatomy from CT, providing more accurate diagnostics and precision in surgical interventions. As of 2015, it is the only medical center in Southeast Asia using this technology.
