In 2002, the Asian American Liver Center at Gleneagles Hospital became the first hospital in Southeast Asia to perform a living donor liver transplant in children, a high-risk, but potentially life-saving procedure. The Asian American Liver Center uses state-of-the-art technology to help physicians reconstruct liver anatomy from CT, providing more accurate diagnostics and precision in surgical interventions.
