Every year, over 250,000 patients are treated in 19 departments, 3 clinics and 4 clinical institutes in the Uniklinik Würzburg. 6,300 employees take care of patients' well-being every day. Interdisciplinary treatment provides all the diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of modern medicine. At nearly 40 interdisciplinary centres, teams work hand in hand. In addition, there is close cooperation with regional doctors and therapists, and special consultation hours and centres offer individual counselling on various diseases or during pregnancy and childbirth.

The most important task of the institution is to treat patients in accordance with the latest results and methods of modern medicine. This is provided by highly qualified and experienced doctors and the whole teams of medical staff. All of them make patients' stay as comfortable as possible and lead them to recovery.
